Looking for the best procedure to prepare yourself for your work life? Then SculpSure is the right treatment for you! Read on to find out.

    What Is SculpSure?

Sculpsure is the latest innovation in non-invasive fat reduction. When you undergo SculpSure treatments there are no incisions at all. It is done by a non-surgical body contouring laser, which targets fat that is resistant to diet and exercise.

During the procedure, the laser energy travels through your skin and heats the underlying fat thereby killing it. Studies have shown that SculpSure achieves up to a 24% fat reduction. Though it is important to remember that some people will get more and some will get less.

    SculpSure Benefits

There are several advantages of SculpSure treatment over treatments like Smartlipo (which I love), Liposuction or an even more invasive surgery such as Tummy Tuck or Arm Lift.

The biggest advantage of SculpSure is that it is totally non-invasive. There are absolutely no incisions and only minimal discomfort. This means there is no downtime. I personally had my love-handles treated twice, and both times, I went immediately to the gym.

In addition, SculpSure is really a quick procedure. You can treat an area in as little as 25 minutes. You can do it on your lunch break or on your way home for dinner.

    SculpSure Side Effects

There are very few risks and side-effects from the treatment. The laser light can travel through any skin color and only penetrates into the subcutaneous fat.

It is safe to use even if you have had a hip replacement or abdominal surgery. It is not recommended, however, to place the paddles directly over scar tissue.

    SculpSure Procedure

I tell my patients to eat something and drink lots of water before they have their treatment. During the treatment, we apply 4 heated paddles to the area that you want to be affected. These paddles are about the size of a small cell phone. The entire session only takes 25 minutes.

You can treat multiple areas, one after another, in the same visit. This means we can put 4 paddles along your lower abdomen and immediately after this we can place the paddles on the outside of your hips, or the inside of your hips or knees or bra line or love-handles, etc.

We carry out all SculpSure treatments in our office. Our estheticians are specially trained in the art of SculpSure. We do our very best to make sure that your treatment is comfortable and specific to your needs and body goals.

What to Expect After The Procedure?

I always stress to my patients that there are no magic treatments. SculpSure is a great addition to your diet and workouts and will maximize your chance of improvement. SculpSure has been shown to decrease your truncal fat up to 24% (this result varies from person to person).

This means you will retain 76% of your fat which should be dealt with in other ways. SculpSure is a great start and therefore a great addition to a workout routine. Combining this with your new diet makes it more likely that you will see results sooner.

Having a SculpSure treatment does not prevent you from having a more invasive procedure later on, such as SmartLipo (Laser Lipo) or Tummy Tuck. If you feel you need a more invasive procedure to get your desired look – that option is still available to you.

This month only, Berman Cosmetic Surgery is offering two 25-minute sessions of SculpSure with Nitronox for just $997. Contact us to learn more!

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

We recommend at least 2 treatments per area you want to improve. We usually space these treatments 4-6 weeks apart. You can do more than 2 sessions per area, but the minimum you should plan on is 2 sessions.

There are no hidden costs with SculpSure, as it does not require any medication or an operating room. In addition to SculpSure body sculpting, we highly recommend our Keto dietary supplements to give you optimal results.

These supplements will help curb your appetite and put your body into ketosis. Ketosis is a metabolic state where your body burns fat (instead of sugar) as fuel. You can take them 1-2 times per day. We even have different flavors to suit your taste buds.

Should I Consult with a Plastic Surgeon if Considering SculpSure?

It is important to consult a plastic surgeon before considering SculpSure treatment. The most important reason is, a plastic surgeon is in the best position to help you decide whether you need SculpSure or SmartLipo (Laser Liposuction) or some type of excisional surgery.

It is important to have realistic expectations for this procedure, especially given the financial investment you are making. A plastic surgeon can also give you a good sense of the pros and cons of each option. This will help you make an informed decision.

      Dear Patients:
I have decided to close my practice. Many of you have asked me who you should go for further surgeries and care. The quality of care in the entire northern Virginia area is very high and there are plenty of good board-certified plastic surgeons (definitely use a board-certified plastic surgeon). I want to particularly endorse Dr. Behzad Parva. He does excellent work and is extremely ethical. One of the best qualities is that he will tell you when you don’t need something done. Dr. Parva has covered my practice for many years when I have been on vacation. I have known him for over 15 years. This is his contact information:

Please let him know that you came to him via my website. It has been an honor and a privilege to be your plastic surgeon.
      Warmly,
      David Berman MD, FRCSC
