PicoSure Laser

I am very excited to be adding the PicoSure laser to my office.  This laser will replace the Revlite laser. The PicoSure laser is really breakthrough technology for several areas of treatment and require fewer treatments compared to others lasers.

Tattoo Removal
It offers state of the art tattoo removal with a huge advantage over other lasers on the market.  The laser light is emitted at a much faster rate which changes the way the pigment in the tattoo is treated.  It creates a “pressure wave technology,” which shatters the pigment into small particles that can easily be eliminated by the body. This removes the tattoos at a much quicker rate with fewer treatments. It is also much more comfortable for the patient. We recommend tattoo removal treatments be scheduled every six to eight weeks.

The PicoSure laser is especially effective for black, green and blue pigments, which traditionally has been difficult for other lasers to deal with in a timely fashion or at all. There is no downtime. This is especially important when one realizes that 1 in 5 people in America have a tattoo and many people regret getting it.  It is much easier to get the tattoo, than to remove it. This is a quantum leap to make this easier.

Pigmented Lesions and Age Spots
The PicoSure laser can successfully remove pigment and age spots.  In places like the hands, this could be combined with fat transfers to turn back the clock even further.

Laser Facial
This super fast laser causes breakdown in the epidermis, while stimulating increased collagen and elastic in the skin with little thermal injury.

This means that there is little to no redness, despite a huge stimulation to repair and rejuvenate the skin. This will do a great job for hyper-pigmentation, acne scarring, melasma, fine lines, and even wrinkles. Think of it like an IPL but without the redness. In order to receive optimal, we offer facial treatments in packages of three and recommend they be scheduled one month apart.
