When you come in for your treatment our esthetician will apply a topical numbing cream to help minimize any discomfort. After approximately 30 minutes of numbing, the treatment will begin – and it takes only 10-15 minutes! Another great thing about PicoSure is the minimal downtime,. Typically, patients have mild redness for only a few hours after the procedure and can return to work and their regular activities. With other lasers, the downtime can last up to a week! We require that you get a minimum of 3 PicoSure treatments, though it should be noted that more may be needed depending on the condition being treated. Once you have reached the results you want, we highly recommend that you get another treatment every 6 months to help prevent accumulation of pigment and slow the appearance of wrinkles.
